I got started in the announcer business back in 1982. My first job was the result of a program director stopping by daily at the convenience store I worked at, we became friends. After being robbed one night, I decided to look for other work, that's when I was offered a DJ job by this gentleman. I was bit by the radio bug, and the rest as they say is History. Over the last 25 years, I've managed to end up in the NMBA hall of fame. and won tons of awards for my production. In the mid 80's I went to college to study broadcasting and worked nights. years later I taught DJ classes at that same school, ENMU Portales. Now the future is full of radio, the thing I love the most out of life, I sure hope for another 25 years. Thank you God, You've been so good to me.
